This book was a bit different from the other books I’ve read by Laura Beers， but I enjoyed it。 I liked watching Tristan， more than anyone else， grow and change。

I love that Laura Beers is able to weave some intrigue and adventure into her regency romances。 The characters were delightful （and make me excited to learn more about them in the next books of the series）， and I even had some fun personal connections with the main character that made it even more enjoyable。 Such a good， quick read！
